The freedom she spoke of is our freedom from our own sinful nature. That freedom was bought for us with the final sacrifice that was required in the Bible’s Old Testament.
When Jesus was destroyed by his own people his blood payed for our freedom. In the same way nature demands a sacrifice to allow life to go on. Animals eat the grass that is sacrifced allows the animals who eat of it to live.
People go to work and sacrifice their time and energy to put food on their family”s table. But we don’t often thank one who created the Job for us to work.
Sacrifice is the nature of God’s plan for his creation. Throughout the New Testament Jesus tells us in different ways to let his sacrifice become our salvation.
As I have said before the reason AOC’s Green New Deal will never work is because even the Sciensts who think of themselves as Liberal don’t understand the nature of sacrifice. They just want a free ride.
Theology has it that 1/10th of the first harvest belongs to our creator. Well in nature the fruit falls off the branch and goes to seed allowing for the fruit to go on for the next generation. The Green New Deal fails because of the fact that Liberal science has no correct answer for the riddle, which came first, the Chicken or the Egg. For a believer the answer is clearly not found in the words of the riddle but rather in Genesis 1:21
God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

By taking the one true answer off the table, Liberals have no answers at all. The Green New Deal asserts that an electric circuit doesn’t need to have resources to prime the circuit. We see the faithless state of California living with a broken power grid because they don’t understand how God’s creation was designed.
